Canada has listed Iran’s Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist group, joining the US and adding to pressure on European governments to follow suit.
The move means police can now charge people who materially or financially support the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and requires banks to freeze any assets linked to the organisation.
